Great Support Experience!
We had a virtual support session via Google Meet with Eshfat and Yeasin from the Dokan Cloud support team. They were incredibly helpful in resolving our custom domain integration issue and assisting with theme styling challenges. For a few more complex issues, they recommended opening a support ticket for developer collaboration. Overall, the experience was smooth, and their support was top-notch. I highly recommend Dokan Cloud for anyone looking for reliable and responsive service!

One of the best deals that I have ever purchased from Appsumo
Dokan Cloud made setting up my store a breeze—no worries about hosting or plugins. The templates are super user-friendly and load quickly, even when my Facebook ad traffic goes up.
I’m especially excited about their upcoming features!

Scale Smarter and Faster with Dokan Cloud’s store.
Dokan Cloud looks like a very promising platform for anyone wanting to launch an online store or even a full marketplace without touching code, and the lifetime deal is tempting for tech-savvy buyers like us who want to avoid monthly costs. The feature set is impressive, with a true drag-and-drop builder, multivendor support, global payments, built-in live chat, and serious scalability—all running on modern tech with SPA and SSR optimizations. That said, I noticed there’s no webhook functionality or Acumbamail integration, which could be a dealbreaker for those needing automation or specific email marketing workflows. Also, no Thai language support yet, so keep that in mind if you’re targeting that market. Still, for most use cases, especially if you want to get up and running fast and don’t need those few missing features, Dokan Cloud seems like a solid buy.

Promising platform with great potential
I have tested the marketplace solution, the platform is promising, the team has a solid background so hopefully it will improve quickly. I am still thankful to the team who has accepted to extend their offer to marketplaces, few deals do this and I know it's hard to build a marketplace solution (there aren't many on the market), so we have to be patient.
Things I did like:
1) Generous offer: marketplace in higher tiers, unlimited vendors (confirmed by support, but would be nice to make it clear in deal terms) and products, all features are unlocked, no hidden fees.
2) Clean admin UI.
3) Many themes (the team could do better in term of quality and mobile support).
4) Many payment methods, I have tested stripe connect integration and everything was smooth.
5) Headless mode is in the work according to the team (public API).
Things I would like to get improved:
1) Multi language support for stores: more control on email content sent for notification or at least support other languages different than english. It doesn't make sense for users to receive English emails whatever the language settings of the store. I'm not speaking about multi lingual support for stores here (which will be great) but only a clean support for other single languages.
2) More customisation for vendor onboarding steps (some steps don't apply or need customisation in some countries), enterprise types are not translated!
3) Full GDPR support by being transparent where data is hosted, marketplace owners should be transparent with their users regarding this point.
4) Performance of stores could be improved as pages don't load really fast for a test marketplace.
5) Few translation errors and layout issues once the language is different than english (text becomes longer in some languages and breaks the CSS).
6) Improve the reliability of the platform, my first vendor onboarding was sent OTP email confirmation multiple times but never received. I had to retry the next day and it did work.
7) More customisation for subscription plans on the display side (show commissions for example and remove free plan when commission is set).
Last improvement suggestion goes to the community website, the existing solution is not the best to build a solid community. It's not practical and contains many bugs. Maybe you can simply create a Discord server or something more modern to get quick feedback and interact with the community.
Overall, I'm optimistic about the future of this platform and I am placing my trust in the Dokan team, thus I am giving five tacos for the potential even if I have listed many improvement suggestions. Good luck!

Could be a very good solution - but...
Generally speaking, the Dokan (Cloud) team is doing a good job. My questions were answered quickly and thoroughly by support. Furthermore, the team (weDevs) has been around for a while, which is certainly beneficial for the long-term outlook. I was also able to set up a test shop fairly quickly using the templates (via a free trial account).
But unfortunately, there are still a few major challenges:
1) The biggest problem: GDPR! Unfortunately, the team's communication here in the Appsumo forum is very vague. The Appsumo description lists the product features as "GDPR-compliant." When Sumo-lings ask questions in the forum, they say Dokan is fully GDPR-compliant, and then they say they are only partially GDPR-compliant. Sorry, but that's not good. As a developer and provider, you need to be clear about whether you are 100% GDPR-compliant or not. If not, you should provide as much information as possible about when you will be. Otherwise, this solution cannot be used in Europe – and it's not you, but us as shop operators who are facing problems!
2) Page Builder: Currently, only the main pages can be edited in the page builder. Other pages, such as the checkout pages (...), are not editable. This is a must for me.
3) Email Notifications: Currently, in Dokan, I can only configure whether customers receive automatic email notifications after they have been active in the shop. However, as a shop operator, I have no way to edit these emails beforehand. I would like to determine for myself which messages and content customers receive from me. This is also a must.
There are still minor points that can be improved, e.g., the functions in the page builder, but this isn't dramatic, and I assume the team is generally working on UI optimization.
But the three points mentioned above are absolutely necessary for me to use Dokan (in Europe). I'll wait for the 60-day period for a possible refund and see if anything develops regarding these issues. If not, I'll unfortunately have to refund it.
